Governors Inn Hotel Tallahassee, Tallahassee

Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were very attractive with extremely comfortable beds, though the layout with a second floor loft up circular metal stairs was a bit challenging. The service was minimal but very personable, with a staff that was friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating even in difficult situations. The location was central to everything I was involved in during my stay, conveniently situated in downtown Tallahassee near Governor Branch and numerous restaurants. While the dining options were marginal at best and the facilities were just average, the hotel offered great value for the money with its prime location and charming ambiance.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was convenient for my activities in Tallahassee, Florida, being close to downtown and historical landmarks, navigating the one-way streets and limited valet parking options made it a bit tricky. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the rooms, though clean, were in dire need of some updates and the bed was uncomfortable. The dining options were underwhelming, with prepackaged meals being the norm, but the hotel's central location did make exploring nearby restaurants easy.

Upon arrival at Governors Inn, I found a nice and clean room, although a bit dark due to the limited natural light from small windows. The service was excellent, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute reservation. The location in downtown Tallahassee was central to everything and mostly quiet. The dining experience was good but needed more attention to detail. The grab & go setup was a change from the previous buffet style. The facilities were satisfactory, with a quaint atmosphere in the lobby area.
